Day 38

Psalm 67:1-5

Before you begin, take a few moments to quiet your mind and prepare your heart to receive God’s Word. Read the following passage at least twice, and then pray through the points below.

1 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, 2 that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. 3 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. 5 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!

Today's Prayer Points

  • Take a few moments to praise God for making Himself known among the nations. We believe that He will be faithful to fulfill His Word and use us to reach the nations with the gospel. Pray that God would cause much rejoicing in us as we see countless people saved among the nations by His work through us.

  • Pray for the many people preparing to go out from among us to the nations. Ask God to be gracious to us, to bless us, and to make his face to shine upon us—that His way may be known on earth and His saving power in all nations. Pray that other churches would see this and want to join us in this mission, not because of anything we do, but because they also desire all nations to know God.

  • Missions exists because the worship of God has not yet reached every corner of this world. Pray that the nations would be glad and sing for joy because they have come to know God. Pray for God to be our greatest joy and the desire of our hearts as we go and send many to unreached peoples.
